Also, why do people prefer the flat ended version? Cacti are rounded, not flat ended tubes..

It's more lego-y

Looks good, can't wait for it to get a brick. But the 1x1 cacti is a bit tall

It's more lego-y

Id much rather prefer semi realism over dead ass Lego style. Also, I were making a Lego cactus, I would round the edges with ramps.

Flat edges are ugly.

Blockland is blocky, not roundy

Is this 'Blocky' enough for you? its not like I want it to be sphere rounded.

Those are good cacti, thus we don't need a cactus brick, unless someone is gonna plant like 100 of them.

What build would you need that you need over 100 cacti for?
a desert?
Apparently it wasn't obvious enough.

I mean come on, imagine Red Dead Redemption with not a single cactus to be found.

A hundred cacti? Really?

Wouldn't that type of thinking result in "We need everything as a brick"?

Yes but foliage is another thing.

I don't understand why you are playing Blockland then. This game wasn't meant to be semi-realistic. This game is based off lego itself.

By Semi-realism, I mean slightly resembles reality. If you want a cactus, Blockland is able to create a decent representation of one under Blocklands terms.

I like where Blockland it going: Going farther than Legos did making innovations that Lego would not. Its what makes Bloackland, Blockland, not Legoland.
Im not saying we should totally disregard the layout of Legos, I'm saying we shouldn't follow the "Lego format" word for word. Blockland should do its own thing.

Round the cactus off.

I believe in a desert you would not find 100 cacti in like a 512x512 build would you?

Unless you put like a cacti every like 10 spaces.

This is all entirely up to the decision of the builder who wants over 1, 10, 20, 100 or even 1,000 cacti if he or she so chooses.

Your argument is invalid.

I agree with Lord Tony and Mr.Noßody. Foliage is indeed a whole another things. You are supposed to have a lot of cacti, trees, bushes, flowers and such. Sure you can easily build a few of them but say you wanna make a forest. It eats tons of bricks that I bet you would much rather use for something more important. I would like to see a tree brick pack with several different trees that look like they were built with bricks.
