badspot graduated college
<stuff happens here including things with tribes and whatnot>
he started blockland
the guys at lego liked it and shiped him out to the lego HQ
he presented his idea
they offered to pay him well if he did the things they wanted and moved out there
badspot said hed think about it, and lego said they would call
lego never called
several good, bad, and ugly mods later, beta was released
everyone was happy
retail was pushed back
everyone was sad
kompressor helped with the bricks to make super anti-lag things
retail was released
everyone was happy
tadah... now will you let us continue being silly?

more or less, what we have told you is the truth

Indeed..
But Ladios, I think you got the Lego think wrong..
I'm pretty sure he didn't like them or something and decided not to take up the offer.\
This would be so much better if Badspot actually took the time to post the history of Blockland..but nah I don't want him to do that, less time spent here = more time for v1.03 or hentai (not meaning that in a bad way)

I told you what i believe to be correct, as I wasn't there at the time.

no
i rmember he said he didnt want to do it but hed think about it but they never called him

thank you for the truth! :cookieMonster: now you can go back to being silly.

why did badspot tell lego about blockland before it was made?

You can't just join a game and expect to know the entire story. Should of been here from the start.

Since I've been here:

TSS (Now AoTS) aired Blockland on Free Play Friday.
I got it next day. (I was 13/14)
Joined the server with first DM. (Everyone, including me, asked how to do it =D)
Flurry of mini-mods with Deathmatch capabilities came out.
I'm a bit fuzzy on the first major mods, but I think it was BLM, Blockland Mods.
Most famous version, 1.6, came out.
This is when I first left Blockland due to constant playing.
Many things happened after that, I lurked on forums every once in a while, seeing new things happen and die.
I started playing again when AiO was big. (All In One)
Alot of debates about stolen material.
I left again (forget why)
Came back and AiO was dead, so I pursued other mods.
Again, I'm a bit fuzzy, but I think the only mods now were TBM and RTB.
I remember getting TBM, but then my internet got disconnected so I quit BL again.
I came back, and after the whole TBM thing, I got RTB. I loved it.
Played that until Retail came out.
Got demo, never touched old RTB since. Waited for like what seemed forever and finally got Blockland. (Now I'm 16)

So theres my kinda off record of my experience.

For a cross-reference here's how it happened for me, I saw a link to this game called blockland when BLMODS was about v1.3 or something, after getting a little bored with blockland0002, I d/led BLMODS, played it for a bit and every once in a while left/came back.

After BLMODS made it to 1.6 it stopped being made and other mods started coming out, particularly AIO, and then a little later TBM, there were some other mods but they were never quite as good. I left for a bit, came back, tried TBM once (before the exploit) then left again and came back to see that TBM now had an exploit.

I deleted TBM, and really only played AIO. Then I left again and came back to see this new mod, RTB was out, I tried it, found it a bit complicated at first but loved the elevators and such.

AIO and pretty much any of the other mods died and I only played RTB. I came back off an on sometimes coming back for updates to RTB, other times just because I had nothing better to do.

Some time around this time AOT (an RPG Badspot was working on) came out so I started playing that for a bit. Fast forward a while later and out comes retail in all its shiny glory. THE END
