these weapons were failed for one specific reason:
it seems as if you're trying to replicate the ion cannon and mini-nuke.
the creators of both add-ons have disbanded the add-on completely for a reason. people can't get that through their thick skulls.
Those where failed because of certain errors that came with it. Apparently the mininuke overwrote the default RL, and the Ion Cannon took way too many datablocks than needed for any one add-on. That's what I heard anyway.
Also, the Shining Laser barley damages within the visual radius, but still launches you. Wether unintended or not, this is still pretty awesome.
I have yet to try the Hi-Blast.
