Mouse Issue.

Since awhile ago, my mouse sometimes apparently clicks twice in one click.

Like I click a folder once, it MAY open up on that first click.

I click a link, it MAY open up a dropdown menu.

I tried restarting my computer, no avail.

It's just barely hitting the bottom of the button, and it goes up and down rapidly by the twitching of your fingers and ends up pressing more than once.
Had the same problem. Just click harder, get new mouse, or pull the little cover off and figure out what's blocking it.

About three or four years.

Get a new one. I'm serious. Same thing happened to me and replacing it was the only thing that helped, and mine was only a year or two old. How much did the mouse cost?
