I'm not sure what branch yet. I'm not sure that I'll even do it yet, but the benefits are amazing...  and seem to outweigh the risks. I've never talked to anyone who joined and regretted it.

I dunno.

Do it.
But after you finish titanic  :cookieMonster:

The Air Force, or Navy.

Pros:
Free college
Fighting for your country
Toughening you up
Doing amazing things
Seeing the world
Becoming a hero
Helping stop wars

Cons:
Dying
Getting wounded or crippled
Getting captured and tortured
Seeing mass death
Killing somebody for the first time
Being far away from home

btw if I was you I would join the airforce

What do you like to do. How old are you?
Definetly check out the websites.
My dad is a HUGE Airforce man and can tell you a lot.
Just dont join the SF or Security Forces.
In the Airfore they have a motto "At least we're not security forces"

I plan on joining the Army at 18  Going to college then officer school.
The off to Ranger or Airborne School.

Why fight?
I would join just for combat and action and to serve my country.

I'm 21. The only branch I'm not interested is the Marines. I like the job variety of the Army, I like the technical side of the Air Force, and I love the sea/vessels... so Navy sounds interesting.

Serve your country in a productive way.

My friend has enlisted in the army. He's pumped. I'd say go for it.

my bro's a marine

Serve your country in a productive way.
This is what I always say and hear. Bones, I always believed you were smart and could achieve so much. The military will sound cool and all, but then you realize you more than likely won't be able to do much and it will be a lot of sitting around. Serve us in a better way by getting a job productive to the country.

It actually sounds like the Marines would be a good place for you.
But yea. Check out sites like

Fighting for our freedom is not productive?

My friend about 23? Left for Iraq a year ago and is now home. :D
And Dude. dont forget about Reserves. My dad is in the Airforce Reserves and goes in work only 2 days a month. Real easy though he does get deploded overseas D:

You should definetly talk to your parents and to a recruiter about this stuff.
