My cousin (like an older brother to me) joined a branch of the Marines. He goes and rescues down chopper pilots in Afghanistan, etc. He says its hella scary because first off you paratroop down to them, then you sit there and pray nobody bombs the stuff out of that spot. And then you have to get them out of there.

Scratch that. The Air Force passed it up. It has more engineering jobs. Also, with 67 credits and a 3.0 GPA in college, I'll be able to go from E-1 (recruit) to E-3 (Airman 1st Class) instantly... including the raise in salary. Going from E-1 to E-3 normally takes no less than 16 months.

I heard Coast Guard is part of the Military. I think that would be good because sometimes, you can rescue people in the Bering Sea, when their crab boats sink. That's why it's called "Deadliest Catch"
