Because I would like to increase my PS3 collection and trophies.  I don't have thousands of dollars for a top quality gaming PC, especially when a PS3 is much cheaper with less bugs and frustrating errors.

I actually enjoy games that do things like that, it gives you a little break from playing, and adds nicely to the storyline.
