They need to use their imagination and do US vs. Cuba.
Black Ops..? I get it >_>

THE BAD GUY KIDNAPPED SOMEONE YOU HAVE TO RESCUE

I hate how games with a morality system turn into You are ether the hero of bunnies and cakes or a town exterminating devil.

I'd actually find an FPS where you're in the SAS, or GSG-9 going against some Eastern power pretty cool. Maybe a war over resources..

GSG-9
German Swat team. I've never seen a game with GSG-9

U.S. vs Russia was because people love the cold war. Stupid forgets should've known better, that if something went wrong, they might not be alive.

Counter-Strike is the only game I know where you can play as the GSG-9.

One cliché that really annoys me is the presence of the middle-aged black "boss" figure that appears in a lot of games.

And stock door-opening sounds. *cough*Fable*cough*

I hate it when the bad guy is talking and yet your person does nothing even though that would be the best time to get the bad guy.

That's why it's so original.

Hooray, here's the final boss.

No wait, he forms into another boss at the end, lol.

No wait, there's a secret to the game to a hidden boss that you forgot. Oops.

Oh yeah, and I also hate when the final boss spawns normal enemies to distract you so you can't focus on damaging the boss so he can make more enemies. Fable is horrible with that.

Stop playing stuffty FPSs, problem solved.
Just because FPSs are unrealistic doesn't mean they're stuffty. If you want a war simulator, play ARMA. If you want to play a fun and interesting game, they haaave to exaggerate the realities of what you can do with guns, movement, inventory, etc. Or else what you'd be playing would just be arduous instead of fun. Even ARMA exaggerates to a certain degree.
