I've heard the opposite and it looks like you just switched the words around.

The Youtube: I quit watching it part of the way through. The irrelevance, it buuurns.

The Opinion: You believe science can explain every little thing? I bet you one hundred dollars you're wrong.

Wow, you're stupid.

Everything evolution is founded on is circumstantial, is it not? Science can only say, IF this happened than this PROBABLY happened, which MAY have lead to... Etcetera.

  • The bible was made for a time long gone, society has changed and in hindsight for the better. Why is the bible so outdated and why has no divine power enlightened the modern world, well overdue for an update haha.
  • The bible is loveist and homophobic, so is God then. If we are to get our morals from the bible, why are so many people ending up ethically opposed to what are clearly horrible and evil things written in the bible.
  • Why this God? There are so many religions and Gods and theories to divine powers, everyone thinks the religion they are part of is right, but most deny the opposing religion. If you can see that religion comes in all shapes and forms with all sorts of nonsense theories that are clearly wrong, how can you say your belief which is just as nonsense is true?
  • There is so little evidence, you wouldn't believe anything else if there was no factual support for it, so what makes some old book so special? What, because there are a lot of people that believe in it? Lets not get started about the world being flat now.
  • God is so transparently designed, I've posted this before; God is much like Santa, all seeing and all knowing and you get rewarded if you are good. Just replace heaven with presents and hell with coal. Its clearly manipulation, to control people in older times when the authority of law wasn't as prominent.
  • There probably is alien life somewhere. We might never find it, but we have already seen organisms and bacteria outside of this planet. How does God fair then? And if its only us on Earth, why bother making the universe so massive with so many planets... its so bogus.

Just a few things that come to mind for now. Bullet pointing as I know you'll wanna respond per question.

"Processes that appear slow in our lifetimes can lead to huge changes over much longer time frames"

Of course not. Everything can't be explained.

Making what you said invalid.

-An update? How come the Bible has stayed the same? Simply because nothing was wrong with it. Science believes something to be concrete until something else rolls along.
-It isn't loveist and homophobic. "loveist" meaning that God puts the man at the helm of the family, and not the woman. "Homophobic" meaning that homoloveuality is a sin. You're telling me people thought that up themselves? According to you, society has changed for the "better." People are more accepting of homoloveuals. Why weren't they before?
-Because there IS evidence of God. God works miracles all the time. How many times do things happen in, for example, medical pratices that doctors give no chance of happening?
-Wrong, wrong, wrong all over. He doesn't reward the good and chastise the bad, far from it. God does not expect us to be perfect at all. He expects us to be His, and He expects us to apologize to Him for what we have done.
-If we never find it, how do we know its there? This is very ciscumstantial. There is no evidence of interstellatr life. God made wonders on other planets, even as a Christian I am fascinated by space.

Maybe if you read the bible you would find that it says something like "Those that edit this book shall be cursed by the almighty God"

"You shall not change one dot or tittle..."
True. But by the same token, if people didn't believe in, respect, and revere God, wouldn't they have changed something by now?

Because passages were omitted over the course of hundreds of years, they were considered not followed anymore. WHAT?

By the way the bible is the work of men.

There have been instances of proving the existance of God
"Proving" is the wrong word. If the existence of God was proven this topic would probably not exist. "Evidence supporting" is appropriate.
I might also add that, unless you specifically present an example or cite a reliable source, your claim holds no water.

An inexplicable event or "miracle" suggests absolutely nothing about the existence of a God. All it simply tells us is that an event has occurred of which we have no immediate explanation for. To immediately call it the work of divine intervention without any prior investigation nor reasoning is illogical and narrow-minded.

rainbows use to be evidence of god lol.
clearly that was full of crap, science explains it nowadays.

just because current science cant explain it YET, dont mean it never will.

I'm finished with this. This is clearly a topic I should not have strayed into. This has just been a gathering place for nonbelievers.

Before you claim that you have won, you will never be able to shake my faith, just as I probably won't be able to shake what you believe in. This topic will probably only cause anger and hatred, and so I leave.

Oh, and why did science believe in God before and now for some reason they think they don't have to?
Good day.

you will never be able to shake my faith
When this is said, we know you're stupid.

Why not talk about modern religions but talk ancient  ones?

It's been thousands of years now, I don't think Christians will ever understand that Jesus ain't coming back.

One more thing...
I apologize if I seem angered, subjects such as these get me flared up. There really is no call for bringing up what divides us as people and what makes us different and what gets us angry. As such, why don't we have the next subject be politics? That won't bring up any arguments.
ANYway, my apologies. I'm also sorry for being quote "stupid" for having faith, but I didn't call out you for believing what you believe. You have no reason to start namecalling simply because I am a minority here. So, anyway, goodbye then. I should hope that this does not taint whatever friends I may have had in you in the future.
