Why is U.S.A. fighting in Afghanistan.

We're in Afgan because we're trying to fix a mess we started accidentally. Which ended up with a group having terrorestic control over it. (Not the group Al Qaeda some other group)

It has nothing to do with Al Qaeda or 9/11.

I back the war, because whatever the reason a bunch of anti-west extremist with weapons, is never good. The reason The public got into the war was 9/11. The reason the military got into the war was because of Bush's botched search for nuclear warheads. In the end, the CIA found no evidence of Nukes, but Bush (or someone under him) changed the reports to make them sound more imposing.

I don't know about the oil idea. Wouldn't we waste more oil using all those big war machines, planes, tanks, etc? I don't really know, but I would think that would drain out own resources.

The Government is controlled by the Taliban, which is that group I was talking about in the other post. Which is basically a terrorist group/gang.

and that's our problem why?

Because we caused it, by getting rid of there leader(who was like a dictator but wasn't) then the Taliban gained control and rape/hurt innocent people in Afghan.

I might be wrong on all of this because I'm going off a vague memory.
