Author Topic: Looking for PC Headsets, any suggestions?  (Read 1298 times)

Well i'm getting tired of using this stuffty rock band USB mic and/or typing out stuff in game. I also am running out of good earbuds.

I have a budget of around or lower than 50 bucks, and it should be big enough to surround my ear and be comfortable to wear for a while.

Add another $25 to that 100$ and you got your self some epic turtle beaches

I got a cheap one for 15 bucks and it is amazing. I forget the name though.

Any of the Turtle Beaches or the Steel Series Siberia V2's are good.

5 hour bump.
Well links would be nice.

I remember seeing something in a game informer from a few months back. I'm looking for that issue though, so I still need suggestions :U

I tried some Bose headphones my friend had, and they didn't sound that much better than some Sennheisers you can get for $100 cheaper.

i want some hardcore surround sound headset, with a heavy duty cord.
ill spend 100 bucks on a half decent one, and the wire is stripping up where it attaches to the headpiece.
i mean i wrap and stuff em in my backpack like daily. i cant have some stuff that will break so quick

Most surround sound headsets are just stereo headsets with a decoder that simulates surround sound, which pretty much any sound card nowadays can do. The only non-simulated surround sound headsets I've seen are Trittons and Sharkoons, which don't look very sturdy.

Why would you need a surround sound headset that you take with you often? Do you go to a lot of lan parties? :o

half my life right now is spent on my laptop. i move around lots.
and it all gets crammed into a backpack lol

Turtle Beach. Epicsauce.

The people I play Call of Duty with seem to like them, they seem to be able to hear enemies pretty well

Astros, but they aren't cheap.
