Well, when you see a dark thing in your monitor, it means it's dark :/

does printscreen show anything?

It might just be your eyes not used to the darkness (or something) so you start to see things darker

No no, so I see dark things and it gets even darker.

And no.

what the forget
I don't understand

When the screen darkens, your eyes aren't fully adjusted, so the other colors seem different when, in fact, they're the same.

My new tv adjusts brightness
The darker it gets the darker the screen so its not to bright
the lighter it gets the brighter the screen so no glare from sun

Are you loving kidding me?

A blank white screen is brighter than a deep purple screen, yes.

Well that's a terrible quality monitor, so I don't doubt it. It could also be a problem with the cable.

And Mega is right, when your screen is bright and then you look at something dark then your eyes need to re-adjust, it's just like when you're outside in the sun all day and then you go inside, the bright light inside seems dark compared to the even brighter light outdoors. It's not a problem with your eyes, it happens to everybody.

Although it could be possible the whole monitor is forgeted up and it dims itself when other parts dim noticeably.

Could be the dynamic contrast. The back lighting adjusts to provide a wider range of colours.

On my laptop moniter it doesnt do it.
