Do stuff for them to get some if you want.

I dislike this as well, I could easily get a magical computer to generate a stuff ton of heat and whatever.

That's not even a troll, that's just an idiot.

It's not letting me mine.

wat do
I'll install Ubuntu JUST to mine.
Seriously, I need help. :C
You need to update OpenCL. Easiest way would be to update your graphics card's drivers, or click one of the below links.

ATI/AMD owners can find this here: OpenCL
Nvidia owners here: OpenCL | NVIDIA Developer Zone
Intel owners here: Intel® OpenCL SDK - Intel® Software Network
Also, you need to make a "worker" account for yourself and log in as "mc77.me" or whatever you make it's name.

What you don't understand is the sheer amount of power required to go into this.
The average computer would take YEARS to mine successfully. It doesn't happen overnight

When I install the Catalyst update I get a package error.

It keeps getting better and better.

I updated and found out why it didn't work.

No OpenCL support. :C
Radeon HD 4550, why you fail me?

Which brings me to another unrelated question, what graphics card should I buy?  I'm don't have much money and I need a card that will run on a 250 watt PSU
