Well when you click hide player names for a minigame, it does show the player names off.

But when u get close it shows them again.

Well, I'm hosting a tf2 server and the spy is practicly useless because it cant get close without being seen.

So I was wondering if someone could make a mod where when you check the hide player names box, it turns it COMPLETELY off.

Badspot made a change a few versions ago to prevent you from turning it completely off. You can't do it.

Hide names completely did leave to problems such as you never know who the person is and someone always ends up becoming a spy.

There is a workaround, and I just quickly made a player::hidename function using it, but there are a few unfixed glitches, and probably a lot more glitches that I haven't found.
