Can't get a connection to steam

for some reason while playing a game i just randomly lose connection to steam and it's been an hour and still no connection, i tried restarting it, didn't work, and it's not my internet because it's running just fine

am i the only one?

Yeah, it lost connection for me too before but now it's back up. It was most inconvenient since my friend's birthday is today and I wanted to be the first to wish her a happy birthday but luckily I still was :u
