1. Drown.
2. Become resurrected as a zombie.
3. Swim up with increased zombie physical strength to a nice little houseboat.
4. Board houseboat.
5. Kill inhabitants.
6. Zombie-infested houseboat.

I'm talking a river. Zombies can't swim. Otherwise, they would be coordinated and not stumble. Also, in reality, Zombies aren't dead people. They are people struck by some sort of virus that makes them act in rage.

1) If you knew how the brain works, once the heart is done, the brain is done too. Without the heart(which cannot be restarted by a virus / bacteria / chemicals / electricity), the brain cannot get blood. No heart means no lungs, that means no air, which means the brain will be 100% empty in minutes. Even if it did start again, hearing, vision, feeling, and all sensory nerves would be eradicated.

2) 28 Days Later is based off of a virus. That is logical.

3) Can't you read? The topic title is about zombies which is why we are talking about zombies.

I'd just kill myself. I could never survive in a zombie apocalypse unless I was rich and prepared for it beforehand by building some kind of fortress. I'd rather kill myself than get killed by a Zombie and give them greater numbers.

I think the zombie would be too dumb to know how to swim, and it would probably drown before it got to the surface.

If you are well prepared you could have enough food and water to last you weeks. When you do run out, the zombie population will probably be thinned out so it's easier to move around.
