Versus opening a new window and having to close it to see your page again
The window is much smaller. PLUS you can make it go behind the main window if you don't want it anymore

I didn't say it didn't
I thought you were implying that searching was a special feature of it. Almost all browsers have that feature.

Google Chrome suggests it, I guess Firefox is better because to get to the video you have to press the down arrow twice on your keyboard or move your mouse 200 pixels to click on it.

Are you trying to be sarcastic? FireFox's autofill is great. It's fast and simple, which is something you like.

Firefox has the search changeable instantly (It's right next to the search bar). It also comes with 10 pre-made, not just three like chrome.

Chrome sucks. I can't save any files pictures without it turning into an .aspx file

What the hell are you talking about :u

If you want it to go away with chrome click another tab. I can't stand when programs make more than one window, that would make me uninstall Firefox immediately.

I was saying that if you knew what you were searching for you could just type it in instead of searching for it by date.

Actually, I dislike when browsers touch my URL bar without my permission. My URL bar is what I typed in or what I clicked, not what my browser thinks I want.

I can't even think of 10 search engines off the top of my head, Google included the ones that matter, and if you want to use another type "name" then hit tab and enter your search value like "Youtube[tab]Nyan cat" and you get a list of youtube videos about a nyan cat on youtube.com

The download system is another part of Chrome I hate. There's a little bar in the bottom that shows, but when I clicked on it, it went to the file I was downloading's page again instead of the downloads tab itself.

It's not like another full window, it's a small one you can bring back and forth with a command. Much better then blocking view from your current page.

It doesn't actually disrupt your text, it searches a database of previous pages (both page titles and url) and gives quick suggestions underneath.

The search bar has google bing and yahoo, like Chrome. It also has a direct wikipedia search, and ebay, and ask.com as well.

Oh, and FireFox does that too. The search bar has suggestions that pop up, not about previous pages, but popular ones all over the internet with that tag. Essentially, it's google's suggestion system expect directly accessible from your current page.

I wouldn't be surprised if Chrome comprised of half the overall browser usage. Even my mom uses Google Chrome, and I don't think she knows what a domain name is.

Once again, Chrome is like Apple. If you just want to view pages, Chrome would be a better choice then Fire Fox. Chrome lacks functionality that FireFox has had for a long time.

The window to download just popped up for me.

What the forget are you talking about? There's a bar at the bottom, when it completes downloading you click on it to open the file or you can click the down arrow next to it and view it in folder etc.

It's not like another full window, it's a small one you can bring back and forth with a command. Much better then blocking view from your current page.
It's still another window, I can't think of a valid reason to have 2+ windows besides a console window for a game.

If they're underneath then that's fine, I thought you meant that it suggested the top result literally on your URL bar so that you can just hit enter if you want to go to it.

Ebay[tab] works for searching ebay, Wikipedia doesn't work so I'll give you that one, but I'm used to typing http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/____ by now anyway, and who the forget uses ask.com

Cool

Oh lord, I just clicked that manage search engines button and how wrong you are. Google Chrome apparently learns from your browsing habits and stores commonly used searches in a list for you to select.
