When I voted yes, I thought it was like a free weekend or something. But free forever... If the people that have bought it get something good out of it, it's not that bad.

It was 10 dollars just a bit ago, so I want my money back because I have only had 1 year before it was free.
The main reason for it going free is that its cash shop was very successful, so I am expecting a lot of games to look at TF2 and they will go F2P also.

What I dislike about it is that children will be able to access this incredibly gory game without having to do any sort of credit card stuff with their parents.

It's certainly not supposed to be a kids game, and I don't want it to be like console gaming, where there are quite a few annoying little kids on the mic.

I really don't care since I don't play TF2, but if they make it free, they will most likely end up selling things that give you an actual advantage in the game, not just hats and such.
It happens all the time; people who pay real money for some shop in a game will get stronger weapons than other players.
Even if it's only to get the weapons earlier, it still gives them an unfair advantage.

Just because the game is free doesn't mean they will make items that nerf the game. Valve thought this through obviously and has a plan to make TF2 free and not ruin it.
