Overprotective parents in support of these mass book bannings have to realize that they are reatarding their child's maturing and ability to think about issues and morals discussed in some of those banned books.

Exactly, it deals with racism and the importance of social equality. Fahrenheit 451 also talks about book censorship and the dangers of ignorance is bliss, which is happening right now in a way ironically as me and Katamari said before.
