Am I living under a rock? My high-school's curriculum went through several of those books.

I'm Catholic and I'm not even offended by it bro
Well, some. Some of my family is offended by it.

guys

Fahrenheit 451 is happening in real life

HOLY FUCCCCCCK
This is ironicly the book I have to read over the summer.

Wtf Harry Potter.

This is most likely part of some republican religious "purification" of everything.

It seems like some religious people will never become satisfied until everything is under the thumb of their religious agenda.

Sonuvabitch.
I have lost a very decent amount of hope and respect for humanity.

Well some people need to learn to take offense, the world ain't 100% peachy. I don't like Darwin's theories, but as Voltaire said, "I may disagree with everything you have to say, but I will die for your right to say it" which pretty much goes with the freedom of expression.

Also, Animal Farm is a great book IMO.

What's the point of banning books? If you don't like it don't read it.

What the forget are we living in?

the middle ages?

BAN SOMETHING BECAUSE IT GOES AGAINST GOD AND IF WE OFFEND HIM HE WILL SMITE US ALL

a lot of schools make these books required reading

other schools burn them

Can I get an answer? I need to be able to verify this as bullstuff.
