Anyone else having this problem with Gmod?

I've tried:
- Verifying integrity of game cache
- Reinstalling
- Deleting subfolder "Bin" like a support thread I saw said to do

Still not working.

Anyone else having this problem, and/or know how to fix it? Super annoying. I could wait for an update but I just wanted to know if anyone else was experiencing the same thing.

Also I should mention that this just started happening, because there was an update.

Did you recently update?

Close steam, go into the steam file, and delete or rename clientregistry.blob.

(I would just rename it to clientregistry.zork or something)

After that, start steam again, and it will make a new clientregistry, try launching after that.

If it doesnt work, you should go to the forums MADE for this.

It's a problem with the recent steam engine update, we're going to have to wait for Garry to wake up, write a patch and then give it to Valve to upload before we can play it.
Which sucks because I was going to play gm_ghosthunt with Yndaaa and Miga :c
