Well see, when two spreads love each other very much, they connect with each other and mesh together between two pieces of bread, which is what we call a sandwich.
This process is very difficult since it's all a mind game to make the human person to put them together, because alone they cannot come together. So the job of the jelly is to make the human person crave them together, again as a sandwich. But doing that isn't the last thing they have to do before, well, we know what happens. We all want milk afterwards, right? Well the job of the peanut butter, is to make the human person want to wash it down with milk. This milk, as we know it, allows the peanut butter and jelly to freely move and do it's thing before swallowed.
Now a couple days later, the job of the peanut butter and jelly is completed. But I won't get into that messy situation... That's just something you've gotta discover on your own.
