Didn't we have a government shutdown like a month ago?
According to Wikipedia the last one was in Pennsylvania in 07.
I've never even heard of such a thing happening. :o
i think all non important government run buildings shutdown.
But that's handicapped. I read it's usually caused by a disagreement in funding, but how the forget does that make sense? "We can't decide how to spend money so let's just not spend money and forget over thousands of people who work in those areas."
this happens from time to time.
I'm not sure why, but it's not that big of a deal, but since my mom works at the USDA which is a government-owned department she gets a day off.
A day? Are they anticipating a quick revival?
