Yes I have seen those threads. Yes I do realize my situation isn't anywhere near as bad as them, but I think after a while it would be clear I don't want to loving talk if I stay in my room for hours playing loud music. I'm pretty sure that says "I don't want to talk"

Rather than be a little stuff and ignore your parents just because they want to be able to have a personal conversation with their own son, you could actually talk to them because they are your parents.
