Author Topic: League of Legends - "The Enemies Inhibitor is respawning soon!"  (Read 193731 times)

I played veig for the first time in FOREVER today, went 9/4/8 after being REDONKULOUSLY fed at mid (something like 344 AP at 23 minutes), we lost with something like 20 kills to 45. I don't think anyone who was on my team is going to be giving lane smite a hard time any time soon.
This is why I love playing as Veigar
Just the good games.

Its around 250 normal games from 1 to 30. Im trying to say that you cant really call yourself better just because you have less wins than your opponent. Made sense?
I realize that,  but the fact that I can play the game better than them with less normal games played is a sign that I learn faster than them.

Or they went straight into pvp and lost more games at start than you did after playing so many bot games and learning some of the game.?
Good for you tho that you learn fast :P, not doing bot games since begging and you would have 100% (pulling these numbers out of somewhere lol)     better skill level at this games cause bots give 0 challenge

Why dont you just drop it lol?

What the forget am i doing wrong now? i said he would be better if he didint play against bots since beginning. Why wont you drop it?

I think Mr. Wallet I'm going to try your lane smite + cv summoners thing. It sounds like handy utility to have.

Ed: Meh, couldn't do it. I love exhaust too much. Merc treads + flat Magic resistance glyphs on Fizz Mid is amazing against most mids, Especially Veigar. And Fizz can do with the tenacity anyway.

Sony, I think the main problem here is that you're not making a lot of grammatical sense and people are misunderstanding you. Proofread your messages a little more.

Run-on sentences are confusing.

A little punctuation would help too. "Since" has two meanings, one related to cause and one related to time, either one of which could be valid here maybe.
I don't even know what that post is supposed to mean and I'm not gonna spend the time to figure it out.

Re: lane smite/cv
It's definitely not for everyone. It's a steady, conservative style whose greatest strength is the lack of any glaring weaknesses. It sacrifices "jackpot" potential in order to be as low-risk as possible. People who like to play Fizz and/or mid lane are generally not the kind of people that will appreciate the relative inability to kill champions in the first half-hour of the game. CV is also a lot weaker since its big duration nerf and I'm not sure I like it that much anymore, since I mostly have it to save money on wards. With the shorter duration, I have a lot less "gank-safe" time on an aggressive push through the river per CV cast. I might start buying wards and take promote instead.

If you're going to go with it, I highly recommend having 9 avarice seals, as well as 21 points in utility including all gold-related masteries. The goal is to scrape up every little piece of gold you can under the assumption that you will have very few kills and assists. Using a conservative style, you should be able to drag out most games to 45 minutes, win or lose, unless a team surrenders on you (yes, you can single-handedly cause games to last 5-10 minutes longer); you should also be able to hit about 14k gold of items on most champions. If you're not reaching those benchmarks, you're probably being too risk-oriented. Best of luck to anyone who goes for it.

edit: I just reread your post and... veigar wut
If a veigar is casting spells on you then he's an idiot, magic resist or no.

re: my recent game with veigar, smite is surprisingly synergistic with him because smite + Q is an instant kill with Q last hit on a tank minion.

He is forced to cast spells on me when I dash into his face and stab him a few times. His stun became useless once I got merc treads and he pretty much became a free kill after that. I was able to zone him and farm in peace when I wasn't busy stabbing him to death.

Whoa, calm down speed racer

I actually had about 70 of my 75 wins before my new decision to play normal. So I got to the level where bots didn't teach me anything, then played against them forever. Considering I joined the game at day one, I would probably be a lot more than 100% better than I am now. I suppose I don't play all that often though.

1. No, he's not. Assuming he knows how to play Veigar, every mana he spends on you for any reason is a stop-gap for a greater failure on his part, leading to...
2. If you can do it, he's not being defensive enough for a veig. My insanely fed game I had I was on the turret the entire time. Even with playful/trickster fizz can't put a lot of early game hurt on someone sitting under the turret (otherwise he'd be straight-up imba)

Just played a game where I was raged at constantly for us losing because I was laning with smite... WITH A GUY WHO WAS PLAYING FIRST TIME EZ. I could have picked any random spell and never cast it a single time all game and it wouldn't be as big a drag as a first time ez, even assuming I didn't play that way all the time (normalizing my Elo to the appropriate level). The sheer level of judgmentalism and stupidity in this game never ceases to astound me.

Also one of the two big ragers was a guy who picked smite trynd, so when I picked my champ I said "laning" and he switched his spells. He lamented he now had to lane, arguing "your spells said otherwise" - suggesting that someone saying "laning" in champ select is not notable, and if they say that with smite on their kit, they must be lying and fully intend to jungle. He couldn't just admit he wasn't paying attention.

Just lost a game. We were having troubles in all of our lanes, and slowly started to lose even though we were ahead in turrets and kills. Then our Malphite, who was doing pretty well, decided that he should quit and have a superiority complex, so he started running into their turrets. Then, somehow, we started making a comeback, but then Fiora DC'd. So it was basically 3v5, and then after a long time Malphite decided to be productive again. It was too late.

Blassssfemmey!

Also, PvP classic game, 18-4 with Teemio. The entire enemy team was using Free-To-Play champs, and sucked.
