what...? lol?

edit: im about to test ingame, wish me luck :D

update on the door:

it went ingame, but it needs to have a .blb file of 1x8x6 instead of 1x4x5, and the collision that the tut told me to add is crap and wont disable when i activate it. also, it needs to have a slower animation. lots to do... lots to do... (and ps, the coloring of the lights didnt work :P) i might have found the problem :D

sorry for tri-post, but:
what ALL do i modify in the (.blb) file to make it into a 1x8x6? it was 1x4x5 and i changed all of the 1x5x15's in the file to 1x8x18's, and now the brick has no raycasting, rendering, or collision, save for the collision i made for the door

Since you're making a door(possibly a few), perhaps you could do all the doors from the Pillar of Autumn? Such as the hall doors with and w/o windows, both layers of the blast doors, air lock doors, etc. Anyways the halls will be 10 bricks tall, and that's an understatement for the PoA.

I'm actually working on a full scale PoA right now. (Hull is about 40%-60% complete,no interior yet.) Any doors you make are just that many more things I don't have to make. The less I have to make, the sooner this is done and possibly released.

And is the Installation 04 door gonna have a red light variant to indicate it's locked? More of a prop brick actually, but it'd still be cool.

here is a big question: do i have to scale the door down for it to work ingame, or does it do it automatically? (i have never made a door before :P)

edit: finished the base model (ignore the glass not showing up, it should right itself ingame):

/support

i may or may not be able to help. :/

i was thinking about doing a prop... idk. i was gonna make it so the door's lights are what you paint it, but thats not happening anytime soon lol

ninja-edit: and the PoA's doors where gonna be my next target if i can pull this one off

Based on this hall I made, the small doors are gonna need to be 8-9 bricks tall. This is actually a minicraft of the actual PoA doors, standing at 12 bricks high. Blast doors are gonna need to be 12 because that's the height of the ceiling.

Master Chief is 7 feet tall. A Blockhead is roughly 5 ft tall, so one would be about as high as his elbow.

I'm too lazy to put my PoA corridor on tinypic right now, so enjoy attachments!

Ninja-Edit:

Now that I think about it, grunts are also 5 ft tall, so imagine that grunt is a Blockhead; that's an accurately scaled everything. Except that grunt is crouching, so he appears to be about 4' - 4'5" tall.

i feel like a friggin idiot, i was wondering why my door wasnt showing up ingame, and now i realize i didn't have the JVS_Content addon enabled

edit: nvm, didnt work :P >(

These are loving bad ass. Nice job dude, amazing.
Also, if you need a scripter I can help. Basically I can do
Weapons, Armor, Hats, JVS Content, Emotes, Emitters, and Lights

I like goth77. He came out of nowhere and can do anything ;)
Unless he is an old user who made a new account...
