it was too difficult to place the full ring into the skybox, so i made it look damaged/unfinished

COugh Reconstructed Ring in Halo 3/2 Cough

Actually just yesterday me and Midway were chating over Xfire, and I brought it to his attention that, considering Halo's physics, his map is quite impossible.

I troll'd him good

Wut map is it. I want to wiki it.

Fine I'll tell. Its Sidewinder

Ah so it is the name of a missile.

I've been modeling this tank for a day or 2. Yesterday I told of it on Midway's map test, but since it's not something Bungie included in the Halo series, no-one knows about it. I found it on The Halo Fanon
So, without further delay,

The M811A2 "Monitor" Anti-Vehicle Platform (AVP)

The Armament:
-HMG mounted on the aft of the mobile beast. It fires .50 HEAP Rounds at 1200 RPM. This gun's main role is to eliminate hostile infantry and light/medium vehicles tailing the tank, contrary to the HEAP round it fires, it is not at all effective against armored vehicles such as the M808

-80mm turret in the front. It hammers 80mm HE/fragmenting rounds down range at 60 RPM. Considering this is a cannon, this is an astonishing RPM. The main role of this canon is to neutralize groups of infantry and light/medium vehicles, and to clear small obstacles such as low walls, buildings, etc.. This cannon is effective against light armor, but will have little effect against heavier vehicles without the help of the main cannon.

-150mm 360-degree circumvention anti-material high-velocity Gauss cannon. This '"cluster forgeter" can punch a whole clean through a warthog and temporarily disable any nearby warthogs (and any other hydro-electric vehicles,) too! This is obviously the piece that makes this vehicle what it is. This cannon can take out an M808 in 1 clean hit, and an opposing one in 2. Because every vehicle in Halo is in one way or another electric or hydro-electric based, This thing can disable any vehicle near the projectile's point of impact. For the size of the Gauss round this thing fires, it must have a diesel engine and absolutely no vital electronic systems, for it would disable itself every time it fired.

Crew and Passengers
-Pilot
-Main Operator
-Forward Turret Gunner
-Rear Gunman
-Room for 9 marines on each caterpillar housing, allowing for 3 squads to ride on the tank

Strength & Speed:
As anyone with a lick of sense would notice, even for a tank, it's huge! And that obviously means it will be slow, Especially since it weighs in at 137.2 tons. Unless it has an extreme engine, which it doesn't. But what it lacks in speed, it well more than makes up for in fire power, strength and intimidation. This thing can take more pounding than your mom's vagina, and that's saying something! If you think GCat's T90 is strong and powerful, this thing will make it look like a little school girl! It may only go roughly 3-5bps, but once it gets there, it'll kick ass and take names! And as for intimidation? Take one look at this thing as it plows through your team's defenses and takes aim at your hiding spot!

My progress:

Done!

Edit:

Oh, and just for The Corporation;
I smoothgrouped a few areas

so its an expansive round?? WTF

XD Whoops, forgot to fix that I was originally gonna make it 120mm, but after I did some calculations I realized I had to downsize it

~snip~
It looks awesome man.
Thx

So I'm guess room for three? Maybe two passengers. Unless it's quicker to walk.
