200 polys dude, and it's all quads.
That's the amount you could add for the RIS.





12x25x2+6=606

12x29x2+6=702
      +
4 rectangular prisms to mount rails (48x4)
      =
1402 Triangles added to the polycount



I use triangles because when I export into .dts format, the entire model is automatically converted to triangles

Who said it has to be realistic?
I have about 10 on my version of the M16.
You're going to a level of detail I wouldn't use for BL unless I absolutely feel like it...

What I've been trying to say is models for Blockland shouldn't look like they were ripped right out of CS:S.
CS weapons are flipped so that left and right side entities are inversed

It wouldn't look right if the rails were stretched or less often

I suppose I could put rail covers on instead of a blank handguard

The textures aren't really that dark, it's just Blender doesn't want to use bright lighting when rendering.
Oh, and I added handguards

I really need Midway to come back online :(.
