He was moving, then his computer took some surprise USB port additions

Does anyone know where to post a thread asking if anyone has one of my saves (My TF2 TDM to be exact)? I lost it, along with about 150+/- other valued saves, when my computer crashed back in November.

Not sure if I should post in gallery or help. If I post in gallery, I might get flamed for not having anything to show. If I post in help, almost NO ONE will see it.

Maybe help or general discussion.

Maybe help or general discussion.
Or Requests.
Seems like a valid Request to me.

I've got a guy who thinks he has it, he's invited me to a server in a few days.

Hey, guys! I have recently gotten access to another computer, and I may be able to transfer all my data to it and be able to work on and/or release V1.2!! But I have a question: had a virus caused my bluscreen, if i connect my hard drive to it via the disc drive port, and start it in SafeMode, would it still be able to transfer the virus?

If it's the kind I had about a year ago, it can and will infect anything you connect to your computer; flashdrives, iPods, internet phones(Magic Jack), etc. It will then infect anything you connect that device to. BUT I never tried starting in safemode. I'm not sure if that will work, but it's worth a try if the other computer is old and ragged out.

Edit:

Wait, wait, wait.. you said something earlier about having your hard drive re-magnetized..
Once my hard drive gets remagnetized...
If that's the case then it must be physical damage, not binary. If that's all then it should be perfectly safe to do that.
