I don't mind dubstep, I liked Kill Everybody and if dubstep fits with a video (Uncharted 3 Multiplayer Trailer, Far Cry 3 Stranded trailer) but it's the fans that drive me nuts. Excluding Kingdaro and others here :3

I don't know what is and what isn't dubstep, I just call it dubstep mostly because they sound very similar to me.

dubstep is usually slower paced with a darker mood while electro house is more upbeat with assortments of random sounds and melodies thrown in.
