i'm not sure what is going on, this might just be some overreaction, but I'm seeing many things regarding "Save Derpy" as in perhaps her name will be changed/removed due to someone/some group getting offended?

i'll try to figure it out. for now it's just some rumor.

apparently some people were bitching to the show creators about how Derpy's voice sounded overly-handicapped, and it had offended many people. this was, of course, partially due to the fact that Tabitha St. Germain, the voice actress for Derpy, wasn't aware that Derpy was female, and as such had recorded her lines in a more "young boy" voice.
