Too bad it's "offensive" for the one character to have a slight disability also has one of the largest fanbases.

I was thinking about other cartoons that have "handicapped" Characters, I got three.
Billy from "The grim adventures of billy and Mandy"
Ed from "Ed Edd & Eddy"
Patrick from "Spongebob Squarepants"
Yet they aren't labeled as offensive?
They where stupid as forget!

To me, Derpy didn't seem handicapped, or offend people with disabilitys.
