Season 2 was hit and miss

It had my favorite episodes (Hurricane Fluttershy, Season Finale), but overall Season 1 was better IMO

I disagree. It was a hit and had several homeruns, but missed with two episodes (which some also disagree with). They dropped friendship lessons and went to life-related lessons, a bummer to me. They also had two awesome two-part episodes and many fun ones inbetween.

Season One is the beginning and is quite simple, Season Two continues and adds more spice to the mix. It has many great improvements, but a few things they took out are indeed missed. I can't wait to see how Season Three changes the dish.
