when they're notified of infringement they have to take it down, otherwise they're basically allowing anyone to do it. you lose money, investors, and claims of property rights if you don't.

if they were being a bitch about it, they would have scouts hanging around YouTube just to take them down. they'd be going all out preventing any website from hosting the videos.

it's something they have to do.

I've seen a lot of other TV shows, and even movies on there, without getting removed. Maybe it's just the doing of the haters of the fandom?

I think YouTube has pay for watching full length movies on there and if you flip the entire movie in a mirror it's not considered the same as the original.
