Just uninstalled WinRAR due to frustration from not knowing how everything works, not being able to find minecraft.jar, and not being able to accomplish the first step of LordoftheUnclean's guide because I couldn't find "Appdata".

it's a hidden folder
"C:\Users\NAME\AppData"

i assume you're looking for "C:\Users\NAME\AppData\Roaming\.minecraft"
