Edit: Apparently you can edit and tweak firefox and stuff so it's super fast. If so, tutorials please. My AVG has forgeted up my Google chrome lately.

I use the Firefox without any speed tweaks and it works just fine. Persona is something you might want to get to customize the look of your browser.
