More research? No wonder the brony fandom gets so much trash talk. I swear there are a lot more perverts among bronies than among Super Mario fans, and yet...

You don't need to call them perverts.

I don't think I've even heard of MLP:FiM until half a year after it became popular.
I really wish it hadn't became much more popular then a little after I made the first topic, the fact that I see so much pony stuff IRL pisses me off.

Ponies should stay on the Internet or be sold as toys by Hasbro, but motherloving Hot Topic or banana republic decided to make pony clothes.

Also why the forget does the media always have to drag Internet slang and memes and stuff all over them?

It's not the media it's the people.

This, it pisses me off when kids walk around with their 20% cooler shirts and stuff.

Theres one at my school, he likes to randomly say rage face quotes and such but that's about it.

Wow.

Good question. I wish I knew.

You don't need to call them perverts.
I draw that particular line a lot closer than most people, sorry about that.

I am personally not as irritated by pony stuff IRL as some others. This is probably because of the amount of time I spent on Memebase. See, because I couldn't watch the videos myself, I tried to find places where a lot of talk occured about the show itself, but wouldn't be full of clopping. The end result: I have seen EVERY SINGLE PICTURE on the My Little Brony section of Memebase uploaded before about September (around which time I found the SCP wiki and spent a lot of time there instead). So many memes has obviously increased my tolerance.
Although to be honest they were a bit misleading at times.

You shouldn't go to those stuffty websites, they steal content stamp their stuffty logo on it and make money from the ads.

Sounds a bit excessive mate. And darned if anybody clicks on the ads they see online; anyone who does so is automatically begging for trouble. It's intended for captioned pictures of memes and funny stuff.
Although I do wish a few particular people would stop reposting other peoples' work from DA, most of them have since removed the offending images (to my knowledge).

It's not excessive it's what they do, they're a terrible breed of website. You don't just make money from people clicking your ads simply them being viewed is enough.

I know that they make money from viewed ads. What I'm saying is that such ads won't actually affect anything, assuming the viewer base is intelligent enough to know bullstuff when they see it.
Sure they're making money off it, but hey, it's the advertisers who are throwing their dollars away on the site. The real problems start when pampered rich bums see something that they "absolutely MUST have!" or "MOMMY I WANT I WANT I WANT WAAAAAAAHHHHHHHH" and someone actually BUYS it.
True that advertising leads to publicity, but you are going to run into that everywhere. Deviantart does it and is somewhat infamous for poor handling of art theft reports (which is actually just due to a small and overloaded support staff and constant duplicate reports by a bajillion different people).
The Blockland Forums (and now to some limited extent the RTB forums due to lubhosting) are the only sites I can think of that involve for-profit deals but do not throw up way too many awful advertisements, and that is all because Badspot is a sensible guy who understands just how annoying advertisements are and takes a moral and ethical standpoint on his forums.

apparently the "precision mode" is a form of stabilizer like with Paint Tool SAI (in a nut shell, it "slows down time" and allows for slow smooth strokes)
