hm, well apparently Andrew Francis wasn't the voice of Braeburn. apparently an actor named Michael Dangerfield was the real "WELCOME TO APPLOOOSA" voice

he was still the voice of Shining Armor though

edit: okay, i decided to watch it
i'd say 70%+ of the footage is from episodes we've already seen, and the new scenes are

likely ALL from next weeks episode, but some might not be
most of the scenes only confirm what i already knew

FURTHER SPOILERS:
i'm totally relieved now, the rainbow was just the Elements of Harmony FINALLY being used again. not an alicorn transformation

next week outta be a hell of a lot of fun

just watched it, it's really more of a "hey the show is back from the break and it's better than ever" type of thing than any sort of specific storyline promo

one thing I can say for sure though is that a large piece of the puzzle for what happens in the season finale has been filled in

also (this is completely unrelated to anything seen or not seen in the promo) people are saying that even if for some reason twilight is turned into an alicorn, she'll find a way to change back by the end of the episode because she'll realize how much it changes her life and relationship with her friends

it's currently the most powerful thing in their world. vague, mysterious, and complex. we know hardly anything about it, and i want to know quite a few things about them.

unfortunately this is a kids show and chances of getting those answers are slim. :c


i'll admit it's the over-powered tool to end epic battles within a short story, but really i can't say it makes sense that six untrained-in-battle pony friends should be doing such things to begin with

also people are saying that even if for some reason twilight is turned into an alicorn, she'll find a way to change back by the end of the episode because she'll realize how much it changes her life and relationship with her friends

i don't doubt that by the end of the episode she would return to her original form
but the idea that she would turn into one at all is stupid.
