yeah, it's in driving distance, Problem is i don't have a car, nor my parents.

We take the public buss everywhere.

My idea at the moment is a train ride, Then split a hotel with you guys.

Regardless, all of my online friends live a huge distance away and I never get to see them ever because I cannot even leave the loving house on my own, much less drive somewhere distant.

So I'm basically stuck here...
...unless my friend Zach is going to stay in town after he graduates. He's the only other person I know who would ever be seen at a brony convention. My parents don't like it and don't ever want to go anywhere, nor can they afford it (well, my dad can, but he'd rather spend the money on himself).

i suppose you should give me a heads up when you have enough information to get started on that. i would likely have to adjust predicted costs, depending on the chosen hotel and whatnot. something to think about for the months ahead

it's no rush, haha. i've never had to do a joint operation of this sort, so i'm not really sure how to approach it.
it's something we'll figure out later i assume.

Oh, i did ask him on steam, after i copy pasted a chat we had before, of brony con LAST year.

Update: Dad doesn't have to go, and he is going to give me much more money then i thought.

He's going to give up $400-$500 to a bank account for me, I'll use that to buy my ticket, cover cost, hotel, ect.

i'm not sure if i can do the estimates for both, just myself

you'll have to divide up your total into the categories needed (travel, food, extra travel/taxies, hotel costs, such and such), that's what i've done at least

i was planning to pay $650 for hotel + plane ticket, though that was a base plan for one person. not sure if it costs more for an extra person or not
