I sort of meant in the circumstance that they base the show's story on the toy line, which would itself turn the show to stuff. If they actually CHANGE THE TOYLINE to MATCH THE SHOW then it's obviously just fine.

I'm crossing my fingers that the episode goes like this:
Celestia offers TW to become an alicorn/princess. She later moves from the job of making friendship reports to being a princess.
She spends most of her time being a princess doing princess work, and later becomes aware of this and realizes that being a princess takes her time away from her friends.
She requests that Celestia demotes her from being a princess and turns her back to a unicorn. She returns to her friends and writes a letter saying something like "Time is best with friends" or some corny stuff.
The end.
This would be OK with me. As long as they change her back, I'm willing to leave well enough alone.
