It's too late, Isaac. They've already confirmed otherwise. They have confirmed, in the spoiler link that Blastdown posted, that Twilight's own destiny is supposedly becoming a princess.

that was actually my original theory, that she would switch destinies with Celestia and everything would revert back to normal.
the extended synopsis says that, regardless of all that, she's emerging as a princess.

it doesn't say alicorn, specifically, but really i think that's a bit of a stretch

Evidence points to humans being in season 4, which would contribute further to the show's crash and burn.

I hoped so too, but I'm losing all hope.
The whole "humans" thing is looking to be a bit too confirmed now. I just hope someone can get the word to Hasbro of the general discontent before it's too late.
Or maybe a crash and a burn is what the show needs to convince Hasbro that they're doing it wrong.
