Kyubey, i think you're talking to the wrong pony about being a Magical Pony

I want to see all the BL Artists draw windy, My Oc.
probably might do a serious attempt later.

I want to see all the BL Artists draw windy, My Oc.

I've drawn her twice so I'm out.

Would enjoy seeing a collection of the same pony in everybody's styles though.

Though we could probably just look in someone's sig to see that *cough*masterockets*cough*

i forgot about the wings, at the same time you can't see the cutiemark with them on
Damn it blast how do you get your lines so straight? I'm going back and forth on these ones i got here and it's not working, :|

Or, maybe they are... I really can't tell, i'll post this pic after i finish the lineart...

I also need help on faces, :D

there's hardly any straight lines in there lol
it's practically just curves

if you mean something else, it's probably from all the practice i've done

I've got to get going in a minute but I wanted to drop off this real quick

the shadow on the ground and right legs aren't final and I'm still fiddling with the right eye so I'll fix it when I get back

Yeah, i said that wrong.
Ahem, let me try again.

Hey, Pengie. I'm not forcing you or anything, but did you say long ago that you were going to draw my OC? (Excluding that group picture)

how do you get your curves to be so perfect.

practice i suppose
the lines are actually scratchy-sketch lines. i'm told this is a bad habit, and professionals use a more "swooping" motion using their shoulder/elbow, not twisting or moving the hand at all. i'm not sure if it is used for all forms of drawing, but i've seen it used for sketch-periods. i'm not able to do it properly though. (i've been told the best practice is to use five sheets of scratch paper, and just fill them up with ovals using your shoulder/elbow)

the stabilizer on paint tool sai is also set to 10 (i use ten or fiveteen for sketches and S-7 for lineart). it makes the lines "fade" more than anything
and it's also scaled. i typically draw with it being 33.33% zoomed out (my canvases are always 3840x2160, basically 1080p x2)

I did use 15 for the sketch, but i just kept it there for the lineart.

S-7 seems useful, i think it's better then me going back and forth with the pen/eraser, trying to get it the best i can...

the general idea is to keep the sketch and transparent the layer a bit for the lineart, undersketching such.
the blue under Windy was my first sketch (it was originally black, changed it blue). then i sketched her a second time, which is the black lines you see over it. no lineart yet

i also set my brush to different settings for sketching and lineart.

if i knew how to use livestream junk i could probably throw a session or two up showing off how i draw sometime
