Buy a 200$ laptop mini or something then. But if you are going to play mid-end lolwut games, you should go with my suggestion, or ethans. Plus, i need someone to play steam games with c:

But I have some games that won't run on my computer but will probably run on a new built one, so that's why i don't want a laptop.

You should get what i got, minus the raedon gcard. Unless, you want kickass gcard.

I would make them with my computer I have now but it's in the kitchen and don't have much room and I don't like the fact that of being in a room with other people while making videos.

I have to go to bed now. :C
But could someone still find me a AM3 motherboard cheaper than ethan's and not a crappy one?

I suggested the motherboard I did because it had Crossfire support (8x, 8x) which was good for upgrades, but it doesn't sound like you'll be doing anything that will require such heavy graphics rendering. I'll cut it down a bit.

Also, that other $400 build had an Athlon. Old technology and framework will make it worse regardless of the clock speeds.

Brand is ASRock, a division of ASUS who make great computer components.
Won't be as good as the previously suggested motherboard but still has 2 PCI-E slots, that would run in 4x, 4x. That's only going to affect high end things and wouldn't affect anything like gaming that much.

Also, this motherboard only supports DDR3 1600, so I found you some more RAM.
I am a loving idiot, this is the RAM I selected first off. Is there anything you have against it? Cause there is more 1600 you could choose from.

Kingston is the single best brand of RAM, and make great sticks. Cheaper, too.

Buy me a good video card please.

Bump
Does the speed on memory really make a difference?
EDIT:And if i'm getting a AM3 processor, does getting a motherboard that is AM3/AM2+/AM2 have any difference than a motherboard that is just AM3?

After a certain amount you wont notice any difference.
But if you have 1GB and upgrade to 4GB you will.
