The bosses change depending on your actions, if you burn everything in Antarctica you'll probably have to face that fire thingy.

There should be a rock colored diff then the others
if you have a cobalt hammer or higher you can break it (it's a requirement to continue)
There should be a lighter. Use it to identify the cave marks, they point arrows to which path you take. Even if you find the marks on yourself you need to burn the bridge at the end, so don't bother.
