Author Topic: Why are people ID tribals?  (Read 7637 times)

It's wrong to judge people by the ID. You have to look further into the person, and ban him if he, for instance, hasn't even changed the nickname/avatar.
I'd say that's worse than judging by ID.  Because you acknowledged they were a new member and instead of helping them out you decided to just get rid of them.

If someone didn't change their name I usually ask if they know how or want to know how.  If they refuse to follow my directions and do stupid crap then I get rid of them  :cookieMonster:

My ID is 827 and I've never been ID discriminated. I wonder why.
Now people are jelly of Skar again

Also, ID tribal sounds stupid. Your ID doesnt determine your race.

That is why.

1604 in the hood.
Also, people are IDists because they hate new people for being new. It's the same principle behind most counterstrike clans.

I have seen it twice, I don't really remember the first time, but the second time was quite recently, about 2 months ago. I can't remember who the hosts name was but the server was called "No one under ID 5000 allowed. Since my ID is 3166 I joined and asked him wtf was his problem, he said he didn't care because all new people are noobs. So I just left and went back to my own dedicated server.

I don't see why people don't like people because of a high ID, it doesn't mean they are gonna be a noob, give them a chance.

I usually dont care for IDs but you must agree its sorta funny when a 28-30k player calls you a noob .

I would agree in some ways, it depends what that person was doing and how he/she behaves.

It does.
Noob = Newbie = New = High ID.
However, being a noob doesn't actually mean that you are an idiot.

I remember one time when Badspot was on his server(afk) and a 23k started taunting him for having a low id.  Badspot woke up and banned him.

27967.

...

Yeah, I'm screwed.
