Why are people ID tribals?

Not once but many times was I banned for having ID to high or too low.

Getting in a argument and the other guy goes like "My ID is lower than yours" and all of a sudden they think they won.

I don't get it.

I met lots of people with recent  ID (high IDs) that are actually smart people. Smarter than lower IDs.

Pisses me off how people think they are better just because they have been on blockland for a longer time.

Only the recent players (20k +) actually do ID discrimination. My ID is 1615. So pretty much everyones ID is higher than mine

My ID is 827 and I've never been ID discriminated. I wonder why.

But I haven't seen that much of it anyway. The whole time I've played this game I've seen it like once or twice.
