It's when you beg for stuff to do that makes you bored.

You need to come up with your own stuff for you to do, using the tools it has given to you.

i actually find minecraft quite fun. the reason it's gotten so many good reviews is because it has elements that make it possible for you to create a different experience every time you play. you go around in a world 8x the size of earth, going down and searching for ores or staying above ground and building a home. everywhere you go is randomized, so you can stay near the spawn or you can go far away and live inside a mountain. some people love that sort of stuff and some people hate it, you're obviously the person who hates it and that's fine, you just shouldn't start flaming the game. i don't like world of warcraft but i don't go around flaming world of warcraft players for the sole reason of being a richard.

Bull loving stuff. Every game goes the same way:

>Punch down 3 tree blocks worth of wood
>Make a bench and a wooden picaxe
>Mine some stone
>Punch down more wood
>Make a stone pickaxe, shovel, and axe
>Cut down wood
>Look for coal
>Make torches, find a cave
>Build a base in the cave
>Stay in cave for hours and hours looking for stupid ores and stuff
>Come out with obsidian for a nether portal, a diamond pick, and whatever resources you picked up
>Make a new base that's prettier than the last one

Every loving game is exactly the same.

I do feel that survival is a tad repetitive, which is why I use it mainly as a building tool.

Again you have to make your own projects, you can't expect the game to just make everything for you, minecraft was made so the players could do what they wanted.

IT'S ABOUT loving LEGOS, IT'S ALL LEGOS!
Legos, Legos everywhere...

Blockland looks a bit like what would happen if Lego decided to make a Minecraft game.

What?

Blockland isn't based on Minecraft.

Blockland isn't endorsed by Lego.

I think you don't like it because you can't get past step 1.

you guys are loving richards in the comments

you guys are loving richards in the comments
well deserved richards

saying blockland is a minecraft clone is like calling Spiral Knights is a Club Penguin clone

It would be nice if the guy said blockland came first.

Yeah, blockland came first, but who gives a stuff? He didn't say that blockland was a copy or anything, just a game like minecraft. You guys just need to settle down.

he didn't play the game then he made a review of it saying it was like "if lego made minecraft."

I STARTED THE BLOCKLAND RAID ON GEEK.COM, ATTACK MY COMRADS, RAIN FLAME ON HIS PETTY REVIEW! RAIN FLAME!

First of all, he probably did play the game. You're just pulling lame excuses from your ass. Second of all, that is what blockland is like. If lego made a game like minecraft, that's what it is.

Comparing Blockland to Minecraft is like comparing an apple to a cellphone.

Every loving game is exactly the same.
Stop playing it the same way then. It's your own fault for lacking creativity.
