Author Topic: NYC map glitch  (Read 1770 times)

So... I was driving around with the dragster and I "found" this. I was like "WTF" so I did it again and recorded it.

I have NEVER seen this in the NYC map at all, and I've played on it a lot with my friend (I only have one friend that has BL, and rarely plays it. makes me sad...).

You can do that on a lot of maps.

You can do that on a lot of maps.

did you watch the whole video

That happens on a few maps, I belieave that the game is not quick enough to add the colling of the vehicle so it fell through.

You can do that on a lot of maps.
If so, then I haven't played them all.
I've played so many maps (25 or so), but it's only NYC that I've done it to...

this isn't anything new except the fact SLOPES WAS UNDER THE MAP

Wait, you mean slopes isn't elevated, it's de-elevated under a map's grounds?

Yes.
Watch the video.

His "ground" is a waterblock? Never knew that.

It's torque's amazing collision detection.  It seems to give up very easily.

HAVE YOU EVER loving LOOKED AT SLOPES

My guess is the entire map is an interior, and the only actual terrain is the bumpy mess left down there.

......what

Now we need to make an elevator to the underground Slopes. If noobs get ahold of this I imagine Professor Layton and the Unwound Future Rps.

There is an underground city down there with a racetrack c:

......what

I think the floor there was not interior but a waterblock. A waterblock would be better to be used for the ocean floor for two reasons:
1. Better collision than interiors
2. It stretches on forever in the map

I drew that conclusion when I saw him bouncing up and down off the ocean floor. I haven't looked for myself though.

Is it possible to have two terrains in one map? Do not believe so.
