that "hitting kids makes them grow up thinking violence is ok" crap is just as unfounded as those who claimed video games forgeted kids up.

That's cool. If I had more me time I'd say we could totally meet up for brunch or some other old man thing I'd be prone to say. lol

I believe in spanking. Not the type where their ass has a red hand print attached to it afterwards. Just one quick firm pat on the bottom and a not too happy tone is more than enough to do the job.

Conditioning children is the only way. Slapping their ass is a good way, though it forces a certain timid sense around the parent. A more efficient process is to take into consideration whether this is a learning experience, or they are not getting the point you are sending across. After that, you should be able to figure it out.
