If you're trying to be cute saying that MLP is worthy enough to be taken seriously like a drama TV show is...  Those shows probably have story and stuff.  IDK if you knew this but a lot of people like a good story, no matter how it is told to them, they like a story.  A TV show based on little ponies aimed at little girls is going to have little to no story.  A TV show based on detectives could have a very dynamic and interesting story.

I bet that the producers of the show don't even take MLP seriously.  It's aimed at little girls.  Hell, I'm sure most little girls who watch the show don't take it as seriously as some of our lovely teenaged boys do here on the forums.  Of course, some of them are trolls and are "taking it seriously" to make others mad, but really?  

I'm curious to know why MLP fans even like MLP.  And I don't want the crap like "I just like it!  Its just a show I like!!"  No.  I can explain why I like my shows.  I like The Office and shows like that because they make me laugh, and I love comedy.  Why do people like MLP?  I haven't seen anyone give me a reason.  I have a feeling that over half the "bronies" are just following the stupid fad.

I like it because it has a decent amount of fan related stuff going on. Has funny moments, easy to watch unlike some programs where you have to think and most of all I find it cute.

Being a fan of anime and manga isn't being a weeaboo.
That's someone who tries to act Japanese and pretend they know extremely fluent Japanese and watch anime/read manga in Japanese without any translation and don't understand what the hell is going on, which I do not.
